The following testimonials were written in each patient's own words.

Stephanie Wohlrabe-Fritsch, Medical Assistant, Ascension St. Elizabeth
"I would like to recognize Stephanie for providing exceptional care. With every visit, she made me feel supported and comfortable. Her ability to make me laugh meant so much to me during difficult visits. She truly is an incredible nurse - you are so lucky that she is part of your team!"

Paulo Miguel Sanico, RN, Ascension St. Elizabeth
"Paulo was my nurse when I was a patient on the third floor. This young man made sure I was taken care of well, and that things I needed were always within reach. He made sure I could watch the Olympics; it kept my thoughts off of being so miserable."

Tommy Schmude, Medical Assistant, Ascension Mercy
“Tommy was so caring and so understanding. He made me feel like everything was ok and that I was safe. It didn't hurt when he had to put the IV in. He is a wonderful man with a heart of gold.”

Chelsea Schaefer, RN, Burn Unit, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee
"Although I wasn’t a burn victim, I was in that unit for one week. Nurse Chelsea was so efficient, caring & really good at multitasking. I believe she is a perfect example for other caregivers; a true mentor for other nurses. As a patient, she makes you feel like you’re her
only responsibility!"

Whitney Brueggemann, RN, Patient Navigator Oncology, Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee
"She gets things done! Cancer is complicated, and I have yet to find a problem Whitney couldn’t solve. She goes way above and beyond. It is obvious her work is more than a job to her; it is a passion."
DeCoteau Klemens, RN, Oncology, Ascension Medical Group
