Ten Ascension Wisconsin associates were recently recognized by patients for providing exceptional compassion and care through Ascension Wisconsin Foundation's Guardian Angel program.

I want to take a moment to recognize Autumn for the incredible care and support she has provided to me and my family. She has truly been our guardian angel, always going above and beyond in every interaction.
This past year has been particularly challenging for me mentally due to work, and Autumn has been a constant source of support. She listens with compassion, encourages me, and ensures I receive the best care—whether it’s addressing my mental health, following up through MyChart, or simply being there when I need guidance.
As a physician assistant, Autumn plays a vital role in patient care, yet PAs are often undervalued. But to us, she is irreplaceable — we wouldn’t trade her for anything. Even my now young adult children still talk about how great she is, which speaks volumes about the lasting impact she has made on our entire family. Her kindness, dedication, and expertise make a world of difference, and we are incredibly grateful for her.

“Dr. Mike has been my primary care doctor for more than 30 years. He has been a caring, concerned and professional doctor for me and my husband for all of those years. Katelyn deserves a big "shout out" because of the kind compassionate care she gave to my husband and myself when we came to the hospital for my husband to have a hip replacement surgery. We are fairly healthy people so having a hip replacement surgery was a "big deal" for us. We were scared! Katelyn took the time to explain to my husband and myself about the operation. There was no question too big or small that she could not answer. Katelyn also came to check on us after the surgery and again, she answered all of our questions. We are very thankful to have had her help!
This is not the first time my family was under Kaitlyn's care. My son had an emergency appendix operation and Katelyn helped us navigate this scary time too! It is wonderful to witness a person who is devoted to their vocation and over the years continues to do a great job!

Guardian Angel, a new program of Ascension Wisconsin Foundation, allows patients to recognize any Ascension Wisconsin associate that went above and beyond during their care.
